Our QUEST 2000 Multimedia Classes offered a new learning experience
for CDI students. This year students learned video editing on Macintosh
computers at the Calfiornia Museum of Photography Digital
Studio located in downtown Riverside.
Jacalyn Lopez Garcia, our multimedia instructor, offered imovie training
and instruction in operating digital camcorders. The students were involved
in filmming the footage for their video projects during one of the weekly
downtown Wednesday night events. Then the students met on a weekly basis
at the CMP where they worked under the guidance of their instructor
to create their own experimental
mindEscape video project.
Rex Garcia, a local high school student, composed a variety
of music selections for the students to use. The music you are listening
to is a selection from the mindEscape video
music created by Rex.
Here are some photos from one of the video classes held
at the CMP Digital Studio.
